Gaf/Elk Corporation - Motivational Video

Gaf/Elk is an innovator in the manufacturing of residential roofing shingles. They have contractors nationwide.

THE CHALLENGE: Some contractors are extremely successful in selling and installing roofs but when it comes to the day to day running of their businesses they lack confidence and skill. Therefore Gaf/Elk created “Peak Performance”, a professional development program designed to teach best practices to contractors across the country. These were to be daylong seminars and Gaf/Elk was concerned about keeping the attention of the attendees.

THE SOLUTION: We proposed producing a motivational music video – Rev It Up! - to start the day. It would be fast-paced, full of energy and would incorporate images that would resonate with the contractors. Original music would be written and recorded. After the video played the audience would be told that the Harley Davidson motorcycle in the video would be given away at the end of the day.

THE OUTCOME: The video started the seminar off with a bang and was referenced throughout the day. The contractors felt motivated and alert and when the video was replayed at the end of the seminar, cheers were heard. Gaf/Elk became the buzz of the national roofing industry and yes, one lucky contractor rode home on his new Harley.

Marconi - Recruitment Video

One of the oldest electronics companies in the world.

THE CHALLENGE: Marconi wanted to recruit the best engineers in the DFW area and wanted to do this in an innovative, creative and unusual way to emphasize the unique way that Marconi does business.

THE SOLUTION: We produced a whimsical cartoon as part of a guerilla marketing campaign. We employed animators, graphic designers and a cast of voice over actors to bring the cartoon to life. The cartoon was meant to lampoon the differences between Marconi and the competition. A packet with our video, a t-shirt and employment information was put together and delivered to engineers at other companies. That same day when the engineers left work they were greeted by people on rollerblades wearing Marconi sandwich boards, loud speaker radio ads and fly-over aerial banners – all asking them to come work for Marconi.

THE OUTCOME: Marconi surpassed their recruitment goals and solidified their position as an innovator in the engineering world.

Tidel - New Product Video

Tidel is one of the leaders of cash management soulutions. Their latest product, the Revolution, is the first complete cash automation and recycling system built specifically for the large volume retailer.

THE CHALLENGE: Tidel needed to communicate all the benefits of the Revolution to an executive-level audience - specifically its simplicity of operation, how it saves time and resources, and how it reduces errors. They also wanted to make sure the quality of the video reflected the high quality and standards that Tidel is known for in the industry.

THE SOLUTION: We shot the product in a studio, incorporating Tidel's color scheme into the set. We also created a looping video of their logo to play on a screen on the back wall of the set. We traveled to stores that currently use the Revolution to shoot testimonials from cashiers and store managers. And finally, we produced high-end motion graphics and animated sequences for use throughout the video.

THE OUTCOME:The final video successfully reflects Tidel's commitment to quality and service and has proven to be a wonderful marketing tool for the Revolution.
